Inspired by the iconic Loulou Bag and the ancient murex shell found along the shores of Tyre in South Lebanon, the piece pays tribute to one of the region’s most enduring cultural symbols. Revered since Phoenician times as a symbol of beauty, wealth, and power, the murex shell was once used to produce the famed Tyrian purple dye, one of the most precious pigments of the ancient world. Drawing from this heritage, Sarah’s Bag transforms a historic emblem into a contemporary luxury statement.
The design brings together the intricate pearl craftsmanship of the original Champagne Loulou Bag with the sculptural character of the Murex silhouette, creating a piece that celebrates both artistry and cultural storytelling.
